Balance Resources is excited to announce the appointment of port infrastructure specialist Rebecca Landon to the position of Senior Associate.

This appointment will see Rebecca apply her expertise in multi-faceted port processes and leverage her extensive senior networks within the Government and Government-owned corporate sector to cement Balance Resource's position as a leading port solutions specialist.

Rebecca previously held the position of Project Director at North Queensland Bulk Ports Corporation for the multi-billion dollar Abbot Point T4-9 Coal Terminal Expansion. In this role Rebecca successfully negotiated with senior industry and government representatives and secured the commercial solutions necessary to provide port capacity in Queensland to support the expansion.

Rebecca also worked for the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads in the senior position of Director of Transport Government Owned Corporations. This role saw Rebecca develop a detailed knowledge of port infrastructure development and establish a strong network across the port industry and within Government.

Rebecca has also held senior budget and policy development positions in Federal and State Government Finance and Treasury Departments.
